Companies licensing the SiGen layer transfer technology normally enter into a multi-year license agreement with an upfront license fee, followed by a negotiated royalty rate. Although SiGen's licensing terms are fair and reasonable, no two license agreements are exactly the same since different companies require different licensing structures based on their and SIGEN's contribution to the final process.

As part of the licensing agreement, SiGen generally works closely with its partner to develop a process recipe specific to the needs of the individual customer. After almost ten years of layer transfer process development, SiGen can significantly reduce the time-to-production for engineered substrates through its know-how and show-how expertise.
